Our New Divisional Winner !

I am pleased to announce our new Divisional Winner (Premiership) in the International Division (Asia & Latin America) of the 2010-11 season - GP, DW Karta Leo Prince Nash (Dak Dak).

Dak Dak was born on 19th Jan 2009, he is the 2nd & smallest kitten of the litter, astonishingly, he brings a lot of remarkable memories to my cattery. ...
Dak Dak was the only boy of the pioneer litter of Karta Leo Cattery, my very first Best Kitten, my first Best Premiership, my first Grand Premier and my first DW ! Dak Dak out from GC, DW Sandy B Mo Joe of Karta Leo, a beautiful Blue and White boy and CH Toscaninni's That's Amore, a lovely dilute calico and a great mother. Thanks to Sandra of Sandy B and Vivianne of Toscaninni's Cattery for sharing their precious bloodline to me, without Momo and Maya I could never have had such a top show quality cat to achieve the title.

I also have to take this opportunity to reserve a special big thanks to my best friend and Dak Dak's owner Annie Lee, I understand it is extremely hard to maintain a show persian throughout the year and bear in mind that this is Annie's first time campaigning a longhair cat who carried "tons" of coat ! I can only imagine the challenging job to her, however, not only was Annie able to keep Dak Dak in top condition all the time but also showed him to perfection. During the show season there are happiness and upset period; we have been talked about campaign strategy but solved all the problems together. I am lucky to have such a good showing partner and good owner.

Last but not the least, I must say thank you to Raymond Ng and Morning Yeung, whom both are my grooming mentor and without their teaching I would never have understood how to maintain a show cat. Thanks to John and Donny of Proventus Cattery who supported us in the Kuala Lumpur show, thanks to Danny and Chris of Hoobee Cattery who supported us as always, thanks to Emil of Onemorecat Cattery who did the wonderful facial sculpting for Dak Dak in the April show and a special thanks to my husband Philip who supported me and was willing to shift the house for my cats for larger room space and kept patience with me when I spent all day on my cats.

Big thanks to all my friends who supported Karta Leo Cattery !
